"Papa's Band", will be playing at the Lake Arbor Community Day this Saturday, June 27th, 2008. The main events starts at noon and we will perform at approximately 5:30pm. "Papa's Band" consists of Clarence "Bluesman" Turner (Guitar/Vocals), Judge F (Bass), Sami' (Guitar), Mike Simon (Drums), and Dave Harris (Harp). Bring the entire family early and enjoy the whole FREE event! Food vendors will be selling chicken, fish, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. Popcorn, cotton candy and snow cone stations will be provided as well. Children can have fun in the moonbounce, slide and climbing amusements, ride the whirly bird, the train and they can have their favorite drawing done by the face painters. The ever popular pony and horse rides will be there from 1:00 - 5:00 pm! Fabulous entertainment shows by singers, dancers, magicians, cheerleaders, bands (jazz, rock, hip-hop, and blues), a gospel rapper and others will provided be for your enjoyment. The festival will end with the annual show by the Old School Singers followed by a spectacular fireworks show at dark!!
